There can be several reasons why you don’t want specific products to appear in the search. They may be bundled items or special upsell items you want to show only on the cart page of your store.


You have three options to hide such items:

  1. Hide a lot of products at once in the Shopify admin

  2. Hide single products one by one in Shopify admin

  3. Hide a lot of products or a single product in the Rapid Search admin



#1 - Hide lot of products at once in Shopify admin

  1. Navigate to your Shopify admin, Products menu.
  2. Select the products you want to hide.
  3. Click the "More actions" button, and "Hide selected products from search".
     
  4. You are ready. The selected products will be hidden in 60 seconds.



#2 - Hide single products one by one in Shopify admin

  1. Navigate to your Shopify admin, Products menu.
  2. Click on the single product you want to hide.
  3. Click the "More actions" button, and "Hide product from search".
  5. You are ready. The selected products will be hidden in 60 seconds.



#3 - Hide a lot of products or a single product in Rapid Search admin

  1. Navigate to your Rapid Search Admin, Settings, Advanced menu.
  2. Scroll down to the "Hide resources" section. 
  3. Click on the relevant option, select the products you want to hide and click on the "Select products" button 
  4. You are ready. The selected products will be hidden in 60 seconds.


NOTE: 
It's not possible to hide pages and blog posts in the search results. You can only change the number of displayed pages and blog posts in the Rapid Search admin, Settings, and Instant Search menu.
