The messages sent by the Rapid Search application can be divided into two types: system messages and promotional letters. Both are equally important, but they may be managed by a different person in the company.
- An email about exceeding the subscription limit is considered a system message.
- In our promotional messages, we will notify you of all useful information related to the application, such as the release of new features and available promotions.
During the onboarding of the Rapid Search app, we will ask you to fill in your Contact preferences for our emails. In the Account menu, you can modify these email addresses at any time to make sure they reach the right employee.
It is mandatory to provide an email address for these options - of course, you can use one email address for both.
Optionally, you can provide a phone number where we can notify you if you exceed the session limit included in your subscription via SMS. We recommend filling in this field to ensure you receive timely alerts.
If the session limit is exceeded, the improved search engine of the Rapid Search app will be temporarily suspended until the new monthly period begins and the session count resets to zero. During this period, your store will revert to using Shopify’s default search engine.
