Shopify Markets is a cross-border management tool that helps you identify, set up, launch, optimize, and manage your international markets all from a single store. You can create markets in Shopify to target specific countries or regions. Alternatively, you can group countries and regions to simplify your expansion efforts.
Shopify's article about the feature: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets
In this article, we are going to focus on the differences that are visible during your searches with the Rapid Search Market's feature enabled and how to set this up. The main goal of this integration is to display accurate prices for each country from which your customers might visit your store.
Here's a before and after picture of the Shopify Markets feature's activation from our demo store:
The primary currency of the store is the EURO. We want to set up a Brazilian market. Once the market setup is done correctly, the next step is to activate the Shopify Markets feature in Rapid Search. This feature can be enabled in the Rapid Search Admin menu under Settings, Advanced. Please note that enabling Shopify markets might take some time, especially if there are numerous products in the store.
Upon successful activation, the integration between Rapid Search and Shopify will be complete, allowing us to display accurate prices for your Shopify Markets.
How to set up Shopify Markets in Rapid Search:
1. To ensure that Rapid Search recognizes your Markets settings, navigate to your Shopify Admin, then go to Settings, Markets, and check your Active Markets.
Please also check that all of the Market's settings are set up and that there are no warnings.
2. Install and configure a geolocation app to ensure that your storefront and currency change automatically based on your visitors' location. For this, you can use the free GEOLOCATION app downloaded from the Shopify App Store or other similar apps.
3. Please enter the Rapid Search Admin, Settings, Advanced menu, and enable the Shopify markets feature. This will start a sync for your store and depending on your product count it can take several minutes to fully update your store.
You're done! Please kindly check your storefront to confirm the update is visible. If not, please, as a first troubleshooting step, check your relevant Markets settings, and start a Manual sync in the Rapid Search Admin, Settings, Advanced menu. If you still experience any issues, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team via chat or email!
