Please follow these steps too Add Rapid Search into your Google Analytics.
1. Sign in and go to your Google Analytics account.
2. Click Admin and navigate to the view in which you want to set up Site Search
3. In the View column, click View Settings.
4. Under Site Search Settings, set Site Search Tracking to ON.
5. In the Query Parameter field, enter the word or words that designate internal query parameters, In Rapid Search case that's "q", (not q=).
Google Analytics 4:
1. Login to your GA4 property and click on the gear icon
2. Under PROPERTY navigate to DATA STREAMS and select your WEB STREAM DETAILS
3. Click the gear icon under ENHANCED MEASUREMENT
4. Under the 4th option down – SITE SEARCH – make sure this is turned on and select SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS
5. In here, add your SEARCH TERM QUERY PARAMETER and click SAVE.
