Upon installing the app, the Rapid Search result page will be enabled for all themes automatically, while the collection page needs to be enabled manually. You can enable or disable them with the "Search results page status" and "Collection page status" settings found in the Rapid Search admin, Settings, Collection and Search results page menu for each theme separately.

While the Search results page status or the Collection page status settings are enabled, by default, their original theme design will be replaced by the Rapid Search design that includes the Rapid Search filters. You can confirm this if the "Product card design" setting is set to "Rapid Search".

While the "Product card design" is set to "Rapid Search", you can edit the Colors, Layout, and Product card display settings directly in this menu.

Under General Settings, choosing a Pagination type sets how your visitors load more products: by clicking the Show more button, switching between numbered pages, or by scrolling through infinite loadingInfinite loading means that the page keeps loading as you scroll down; there are three scrolls, and after that, you need to scroll further manually.

At the Layout settings section, you may change the look of the product cards by defining if the product information is aligned to the left or to the center of each product card.

By default, our result page displays 3 products per row and 4 rows per page. You may change this by dragging the selector circle on the line and setting a maximum of 5 Products per row and a maximum of 10 Rows per page.

At the Product card display setting section, you may choose what information is displayed in each product card, (i.e. you would like to see SKUs or vendors displayed) by turning the relevant toggle ON or OFF. Drag any product field row by clicking on it with your mouse and moving it up or down whilst still holding it to change the order of the related product information in the product card.

From April 2025, some select themes may set the "Product card design" setting to "Theme original". This allows users to add our filters without changing the design of their results page and/or collection pages drastically

Please note that this feature is still in an early access version that does not support all Shopify themes. If this is enabled but does not work as expected, kindly reach out to our customer support team!

If the Product card design in this menu is set to Theme original, the following settings can be set in the Shopify Theme editorNumber of columns, Image ratio, Image shape, Show/Hide Vendor, Mobile layout, Filters enabled/disabled, Horizontal/Vertical filters, Enable/disable sorting.

Please note that the Shopify theme editor has separate settings for the Search Result page and Collection pages. You can find their relative settings by switching between the previewed templates.

Generally, the "Theme original" search result page product card design and filters can be modified in the Search template > Search results section. This may vary based on the used theme.

Generally, the "Theme original" collection page product card design and filters can be modified in the Default collection template > Product grid section. This may vary based on the used theme.

Filters shown by the Rapid Search app can be customized in the Rapid Search Admin > Settings > Filters menu. (Please consult our article on Filters for more information.)
